The optional advanced Stereo Measurement feature captures image information through two parallax lenses that allows the operator to make accurate measurements of inspected objects from any angle. To help increase workflow, the newly implemented screen switching function allows easy detection of defects with a large, single screen and then quick shift to measurement view. In measurement view, Stereo Measurement allows the inspector to analyze length or distance, point to line,
area/circumference, or depth of a given defect for repeatable and quantifiable reporting. Additionally, our unique Spot‐Ranging™ feature on the IPLEX RX, the industry’s only real‐time tip‐to‐target distance measurement tool, navigates the scope tip to the optimum distance from a target for the most reliable measurement on the first try.
The IPLEX RX features exceptionally high-resolution images captured from the end of its 4 mm or 6 mm diameter tungsten braided insertion tube. The PulsarPic™ technology achieved by the unique image processor and ultra-bright illumination system produces very bright and sharp images. Its portable and environmentally-resistant design allows inspectors to carry to almost any site.
Supported Stereo Measurement modes by the IPLEX RX
Distance | Distance between two points. |
Point-to-Line | Perpendicular distance between a point and a user-defined line. |
Depth | Orthogonal depth/height distance between a point and a user-defined plane. |
Area/Lines | Multiple point circumference and area measurement. |
