This program updates the IPLEX NX software to v1.60A.

New Features and Changes of this Program

Below is the new feature and changes of this program:

1. Fixed a bug in the wireless connection screen that the third or later access point registered as a connection destination could not be connected
2. Changes in GUI:
   • "Running" is not displayed when transferring during recording on a screen displaying live video*
   • Wi-Fi icon blinks when transferring during recording/batch transfer
     *Excluding freeze screen and video playback screen

Before Update

Please make sure you have the following to successfully perform the software update:

• IPLEX NX videoscope with AC adapter
• SDHC memory card (Note: USB drive can NOT be used for this update)
• Computer with SDHC memory card port or SDHC to USB adapter

Download Update Program

1. Visit the Olympus website below:
   https://www.olympus-ims.com/en/service-and-support/downloads
2. Click IPLEX > IPLEX NX Software Update - v1.60A
3. Click [Download] located in the bottom of the page
4. Enter the requested information in the displayed entry form
5. Click [Start Download] to start download of the program
6. When [Download the File] dialogue appears, click [Save] button to save the file on Desktop or any given location on computer
7. Decompress the ZIP file after download

Update IPLEX NX Software to v1.60A

1. Connect the SDHC memory card to a computer
2. In the root directory, create a new folder called "UPDATE"
3. Copy ALL of unzipped files into the folder called "UPDATE"
4. Connect the IPLEX NX videoscope to AC adapter
5. While the videoscope is powered OFF, insert the SDHC memory card from step 1 above into the videoscope
6. Power ON the videoscope
   Attention: Videoscope shall have continuous power from AC power to prevent accidental shut down during the update
7. Update process will start automatically
8. When the message "UPDATE!!" appears at the bottom of the blue startup screen, power OFF the videoscope
9. REPEAT steps 6 to 8 again
   Important: In order to update the software to v1.60A, program needs to be installed 2 TIMES!!
10. Using your computer, delete the folder named "UPDATE" on the SDHC memory using the computer to prevent automatic activation again.
11. Go to Menu > System Setup > Version to confirm that software version of OP SYSTEM 1.20, RDK PROGRAM 1.20 and MAIN PROGRAM 1.60A has been successfully installed
