Vanta Handheld XRF Analyzers Outperform the Competition

By  -

When designing the Vanta™ handheld X-ray fluorescence (XRF) analyzer, we listened to our customers. They told us they wanted a device that they could use every day in hot, dirty, and dusty conditions without having to worry about the analyzer constantly breaking down. They told us they wanted an analyzer that delivered accurate results fast. They told us they wanted an analyzer that was easy to use with minimal training and that made it easy to record and share data.

We delivered.

Redefining Ruggedness

No handheld XRF is tougher than a Vanta analyzer. Typical handheld XRF devices are fragile; drop it and your analyzer might need an expensive repair. Vanta analyzers are different. Our mechanical engineers created a device that can pass a U.S. military standard 4-foot drop test.

We know that our customers work in all kinds of conditions from the Australian Outback to scrap yards. That’s why Vanta analyzers are IP rated for protection against dust and water. Use your analyzer in the rain or in dusty conditions; Vanta analyzers are designed to thrive in the toughest environments.

When other handheld XRF devices can’t take the heat, Vanta analyzers with an optional fan are designed to withstand a temperature range of -10 °C to 50 °C (14 °F to 122 °F) at full duty cycle. Vanta analyzers remain accurate no matter the temperature; you get the same result when you first turn your device on as you do on your 100th test on a hot day. Use your analyzer all day in hot environments without worrying about your device overheating and be confident in your results.

Revolutionary Analytical Speed and Accuracy

Vanta analyzers are our first XRF device to feature Olympus’ revolutionary new Axon™ technology, a breakthrough in XRF signal processing that delivers high X-ray counts per second for results that are fast, accurate, and repeatable.

An XRF analyzer is only as good as its ability to count X-rays. It doesn’t matter how many X-rays your analyzer can produce if it can’t count them. Vanta analyzers’ X-ray signal processing is remarkably efficient so it counts more of the X-rays that the analyzer makes. With Vanta analyzers, you know you’re getting performance that is second to none.

With Axon technology’s ultra-low electrical noise design, Vanta analyzers can clearly separate crowded spectral peaks, something very important for analyzing light element alloys and geochemical samples.

Get accurate results quickly.

Enhanced Productivity

The software features and user interface of Vanta analyzers are easy to use so you can be productive with little training. Swipe and scroll through the interface just like on your smartphone. Hate scrolling through menus to find the test that you want to use? Customize which software features and functions are displayed on your analyzer’s main screen.

Stay connected while using your device. Direct to USB drive or optional Wireless LAN and Bluetooth® connectivity make it easy to export your data. Vanta analyzers are designed to enable powerful cloud functions. Stay tuned for more information about the device’s cloud functionality.

Our software helps you get the most out of your analyzer with functions such as SmartSort that intuitively lengthens or shortens test times based on material and Grade Match Messaging that enables users to program the analyzer to display unique messages for each alloy grade.

The new user interface is easy to use.
