AeroView Software

AeroView™ software enables you to acquire and analyze phased array and ultrasonic testing (PAUT) data of inspections performed at 0 degrees with an overlap. This software is specially designed to facilitate the analysis of aviation and aerospace inspection data, for both manufacturing and maintenance applications. It provides you with optimized layout and readings management and advanced analysis tools to ease interpretation of the acquired data and help ensure compliance with the specifications.

Compatibility

AeroView Analysis

This software reads PAUT data files in the .nde open file format only. Only the “0° with overlap” configuration is supported.

PAUT file compatibility for analysis in AeroView software:

• .nde file format (v. 3.0) data file from OmniScan X3 units (up to 5.18)
• .nde file format (v. 4.0) data file from OmniScan X4 units (from 6.0)
• Data files generated with AeroView Inspection

AeroView Inspection

This software license offers the same functionalities as AeroView Analysis, with the addition of remote PAUT data acquisition through a LAN (RJ45) cable. AeroView Inspection supports the following PAUT instruments:

• QuickScan iX PA+ data acquisition units
• OmniScan X4 flaw detectors; this requires the installation of the OmniScan Black Box application (currently in development). Only the following OmniScan X4 models will be supported for AeroView data acquisition:
  16:128PR, 32:128PR, and 64:128PR

NOTE that the inspection functionalities related to the OmniScan X4 are currently in development.

• CPU: Intel Core i7 or Xeon E3
• RAM memory: 32 GB (DDR3 or better)
• Data storage drive: SSD 1 TB
• Network adapter: Gigabit Ethernet card and Cat 5 cable
• NVIDIA GPU with compute capabilities 6.1 minimum
• 1600 × 1200 on 4:3 display (1920 × 1080 on 16:9 display) or higher display adapter and monitor resolution
• A keyboard and a pointing device
• Microsoft Windows 10 operating system (2022 update)
