X-Ray Symposium

Humans and the land have always been closely connected. From agriculture to conservation, geochemistry to formation modeling, and mineral extraction to environmental assessment—these fields all require clear data to drive accurate decisions.

Join us in Austin, Texas to present your research in these fields. Please submit an abstract (max. 250 words) to XraySymposium@olympus.com for the chance to present. X-ray analysis should be a component of your presentation but does not need to be the central topic. Talks will be open to primary investigators and distinguished researchers. Post-docs, graduate students, and undergraduate researchers are encouraged to participate in the Poster Session. Awards will be given to outstanding entries. There is no limit on the number of submissions per research group.

Researchers are welcome to attend this free event without presenting. Lunch will be provided, and X-ray fluorescence, X-ray diffraction, and optical microscopy instruments will be on hand for demonstration. Bring soil and mineral samples to test onsite at no cost. Don’t miss this opportunity to present research, develop collaborations, and learn from industry experts.
