Overview
DELTA Lead Based Paint Handheld XRF Analyzers test for Lead (Pb) in seconds. These reliable, tube-based units are light in weight and ergonomically designed for all-day testing. They start fast and stay fast - no isotope fade. And, they have a low total cost of ownership. Before you begin structural repair - grinding, cutting or painting - screen for Pb; then, check your work area after clean-up. The Handheld XRF configured specifically for Industrial Lead-Based-Paint analysis is the DELTA Classic and is referred to as the DC4000LP. The DELTA does not have a HUD PCS; therefore, it is not suitable for HUD LBP applications.

SmartScreenTM provides a fast and accurate method of measuring Pb concentrations in a multilayer coating without the liabilities of radioactive isotopes. The software-based proximity sensor enables easy measurements on uneven surfaces. With no radioactive sources, the analyzer eliminates isotope loss of speed, high replacement costs, and post-9/11 regulatory restrictions.
